He began his NFL career with the Oakland Raiders (now Las Vegas Raiders) after being selected as the 4th overall pick in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Before moving to Buffalo in mid-October, his last two stops came with the Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys. His NFL career consists of five Pro Bowls and a PFWA All-Rookie Team honors. By the end of the 2023 season, Cooper already has around 9,500 receiving yards and 60 touchdowns.

His high school football career was strewn with achievements as he was a first-team FHSAA 8A All-State selection along with number four player on Orlando Sentinel’s Florida Top 100. Additionally, he appeared in basketball and track for his high school team. He was a consensus four-star prospect coming out of high school. Subsequently, he chose to play football for the University of Alabama. His time with the Crimson Tide saw him appear in 40 games, in which he managed to haul in 228 catches for 3,463 yards.
