Arlington Renegades Info
The Arlington Renegades are a professional football team who play in the Xtreme Football League. They were originally founded as the Dallas Renegades to play in the 2020 season of the XFL. The new ownership of the XFL rebranded the team in 2022 and named them the Arlington Renegades. The Arlington Renegades are the third team from Texas to play in the XFL along with the San Antonio Brahmas and the Houston Roughnecks. The Arlington Renegades compete in the South Division of the XFL. The Renegades made it to the XFL Championship although they were sluggish throughout the XFL regular season. The Arlington Renegades reached the championship game after defeating the Houston Roughnecks 26-11 at the TDECU Stadium in front of 13,558 fans.
Location, Stadium, and Team Colors
The Arlington Renegades are based out of Arlington in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. After the famous Dallas Cowboys of the NFL, the Arlington Renegades are the only outdoor football team from the area. Numerous indoor football teams like the Arena Football League's Dallas Texans, Fort Worth Cavalry, Dallas Desperados and Dallas Vigilantes, and the Allen Wranglers and Texas Revolution have represented the area in football.
Choctaw Stadium
The Arlington Renegades’ home stadium is the Choctaw multi-purpose stadium in Arlington, Texas. From 1994 to 2019, when the club moved to Globe Life Field, it was the home of the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball and the Texas Rangers Baseball Hall of Fame. The stadium was restructured in 2020 as a football and soccer stadium. Apart from being the home stadium of the Arlington Renegades, the stadium is also the home stadium for North Texas SC (reserve team of FC Dallas) of the MLS Next Pro league. The stadium can seat up to 48,114 spectators.
The team colors of the Arlington Renegades are black, light blue and red. The Arlington Renegades had a new light blue themed logo in 2022 which replaced a bandit logo which was used when they were the Dallas Renegades. All jerseys and helmets for the Arlington Renegades are designed and made by Under Armour, who are the official kit provider for all XFL teams.

The Arlington Renegades have a formidable attack and pose a threat to other teams with their speed of running the ball. Former USFL teammate duo Kyle Sloter and Sal Canella can be dangerous. The Renegades' defense will also be looking to stop other teams from running. If they can make other teams one-dimensional they’re going to be dangerous.
Former Oklahoma Sooners head coach Bob Stoops is a College Football Hall of Fame inductee and he can lead the Arlington Renegades to a successful season, although they might not be favorites to win the XFL.
Who is the owner of the Arlington Renegades?
All teams in the XFL are owned by the league itself. Dwayne Johnson's Alpha Acquico owns and operates the team as part of the new XFL. How many championships have the Arlington Renegades won?
The Arlington Renegades competed in the 2020 XFL season but the season was canceled midway due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the 2023 XFL season is the first time the XFL Championship is up for grabs. The Arlington Renegades will be looking to get their hands on the first XFL Championship trophy. Despite their losing record of 4-6 during the regular season, the Renegades made it to the playoffs after clinching the second spot in the South Division. They would, however, go on to do the impossible against the division favorite, the Houston Roughnecks, in the divisional championship game.
