Bam Martin-Scott is a linebacker for the South Carolina Gamecocks. He started his college career at Dodge City Community College and played there from 2019-2020. He's a Fort Wayne, Indiana, native and played high school football at Snider High School. Martin-Scott began his college football career at Dodge City Community College in Kansas. As a freshman in 2019, he logged 42 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and an interception. The 2020 season was suspended because of COVID-19. He transferred to the University of South Carolina in 2021 and redshirted his first year. Over four seasons with the Gamecocks, Martin-Scott appeared in 40 games with 121 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, six pass breakups, one interception return for 37 yards, and three forced fumbles.

On January 25, 2025, he declared for the NFL Draft on Instagram (@bamscott22_). At the 2025 NFL Combine, his Next Gen Stats score of 65 ranked 23rd overall among linebackers, according to the official NFL website.
