Brandon Coleman played his college football for the TCU Horned Frogs and was the offensive lineman for his team. He initially started his college football career playing for Trinity Valley Community College in 2019 but transferred to play for the Horned Frogs in 2020. He spent four seasons with TCU before declaring for the NFL draft. He is a former three-star recruit who was ranked as the eighth-best offensive tackle in the nation.

Coleman is also physically gifted as he is 6 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 320 pounds, and has a vertical jump of 34 inches which is unheard of given his size. Coleman also clocked his 40-yard dash in 4.99 seconds which is extremely impressive because he weighs over 300 pounds.

For his efforts in 2023, Coleman was named to the Second Team All-Big 12 in 2023 and was invited to play in the 2024 Senior Bowl. He was also named honorable mention All-Big 12 Conference in 2022.
