Breece Maelik Hall is an American football running back for the New York Jets as of the 2024 NFL season. The New York Jets selected him with the 36th overall pick in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He is a native of Wichita, Kansas, and went to Wichita Northwest High School, where he won Wichita Metro Player of the Year for his 2,127 yards of rushing and 29 touchdowns as a senior. He was also the first-team All-State twice. He then enrolled at Iowa State University in 2019-2021. He was named second-team All-Big 12 in his debut season and Unanimous All-American in 2020. Further, he was also named the first-team All-Big 12 and Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year twice in 2020 and 2021.

Hall chose to forgo his senior years for the 2022 NFL Draft, being selected by the Jets as the first running back drafted that year.
