
Jakob “Jake” Majors is a former collegiate football center for the Texas Longhorns. He grew up in Prosper, Texas, and attended Prosper High School. Jake joined the University of Texas football program in 2020 and stayed through the 2024 season. He played in 57 games over five seasons. As a freshman, he played in three games and started two. In 2021, he secured the starting center position and held it until the end of his college career. His 56 career starts set a program record. Majors earned multiple honors during his time at Texas. He was a finalist for the Campbell Trophy in 2024. After a strong performance in the win over Michigan, he was named Outland Trophy National Player of the Week and SEC Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week. In 2023, he was an honorable mention All-Big 12.
