Calais Campbell is an American professional football defensive tackle playing for the Miami Dolphins in the NFL. Born on September 1, 1986, he has played with multiple teams including the Jacksonville Jaguars, Baltimore Ravens, Atlanta Falcons, and the Miami Dolphins.

Campbell played college football for the Miami Hurricanes, where his impressive performance quickly caught the attention of NFL scouts. He started his college career in 2004 and spent the season red-shirted. During his final college season in 2007, Campbell continued to impress with 50 tackles, 6.5 sacks and even notched an interception. After his successful college career, Campbell was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
