Charvarius 'Mooney' Ward is an American football cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL. Ward went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft but signed a three-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys. However, he was later swapped for Parker Ehinger and joined the Kansas City Chiefs. In 2019, Ward helped Chief reach Super Bowl LIV, where they defeated the San Francisco 49ers and recorded four tackles in the game. In 2023, he earned Second-team All Pro and Pro Bowl honors for the first time in his career.

He started his collegiate career at the Hinds Community College in 2014. As a freshman at Hinds College, Ward recorded 32 tackles, and 3 interceptions in 2014. He transferred to Middle Tennessee State University in 2016, as a junior starting cornerback and recorded 26 tackles and 2 interceptions. Ward attended McComb High School, where he started his football career. As a senior in high school, Ward recorded 48 tackles and also received the All-Region honors.
