Drue Tranquill is an American professional linebacker playing for the Kansas City Chiefs as of the 2024 NFL season. His professional career in the NFL began when he was drafted in the fourth round as the 130th overall pick by the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2019 NFL Draft. He spent four seasons with the Chargers while posting 298 total tackles, 6.5 sacks and one interception. In 2023, he signed a one-year $3,000,000 contract as a free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on August 15, 1995, Tranquill is a mechanical engineering graduate and played college for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (via Notre Dame website).
