Harrison Smith is an American football safety for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Notre Dame and was drafted by the Vikings in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft with the 29th overall pick.

In 2017, Smith was graded the third-best player in the NFL by Pro Football Focus. His season grade of 98.8 was also the highest among safeties in Pro Football Focus history.He was named to his third straight Pro Bowl on January 22, 2018 and was named first-team All-Pro. Overall, he has been named to 6 Pro Bowls, from 2015-2019 and in 2021, and has a second-team All-Pro selection in his hardware collection as well.
