Jevon Holland is a Canadian-American football safety for the Miami Dolphins in the NFL. The Dolphins selected him as the 36th pick in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. After being drafted by the Dolphins, he was named for the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2021. Across three seasons with the team, he has played in 44 games, recording 230 combined tackles and 4.0 sacks. Furthermore, he also had 20 passed deflections, five interceptions and four forced fumbles at the end of the 2023 NFL season.

Jevon opted for the University of Oregon in 2018 and recorded 42 tackles and a team-high five interceptions in his first season. He once again led the team in 2019 with 66 tackles, a touchdown, and four interceptions. He declared for the 2021 NFL Draft after playing in 27 games, forgoing his senior year. Born on March 3, 2000, Jevon attended Bishop O'Dowd High School in Oakland, California. He then played as a wide receiver and defensive back. He recorded 35 receptions for 1,012 yards and 12 touchdowns as the former and had 34 tackles and five interceptions as the latter in his senior year.

Jevon Holland’s parents are Robert and Pamela Holland, as per The Athletic. Further, the couple has three children: Jevon, Jamir and Jada, as per Pamela’s Instagram handle. Unfortunately, not much is known about Jevon's mother, Pamela. His father, Robert, on the other hand, was a former Canadian Football League Grey Cup champion with the Edmonton Elks. Jevon said about his father in an interview:

"My ball skills are way better than my dad’s by far.” “I played receiver in high school. I lowkey went crazy in high school at receiver.”

The Province claims that Robert went to the California State University, Sacremento, and his CFL career began with the British Columbia Lions in 1990. He later played for the Birmingham Fire in the World League of Football, where he had an "All-World" season, and then spent a few years with the San Francisco 49ers on the practice squad. He returned to the Canadian Football League in 1993, winning a Grey Cup and was named an all-star in 1994, before returning to British Columbia. In and interview with Complex, he said:

"He knows what it’s like to be in the NFL, to play at the professional level. Throughout my life, he has been guiding me and putting me in the right place so I can step on the field and be confident in myself and my ability.”
