Jonnu Andre Smith is a professional American football player for the Miami Dolphins who plays as a tight end. The Tennessee Titans drafted Smith with the 100th pick in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft. Smith's debut season saw him recording 18 receptions for 157 yards and two touchdowns. Although Smith's 2018 season was cut short due to an MCL injury, he still managed to finish with three touchdowns and twenty catches for 258 yards. Smith has three touchdowns and 439 yards on 35 catches at the end of the 2019 campaign. Smith and the New England Patriots agreed to a four-year contract in 2021, however, Smith was traded to the Atlanta Falcons in 2023 in exchange for a choice in the 2023 seventh round. Smith signed with the Miami Dolphins after being released by the Falcons in February 2024.

Smith was playing college football at Florida International University. After 39 receptions for 388 yards and two scores, Smith wrapped off his rookie year. He was named to the First Team All-Conference USA in his sophomore campaign when he caught 61 passes for 710 yards and eight touchdowns. For his junior year, Smith was named to the John Mackey Award Preseason and Midseason Watch List. Smith had a stellar senior season, starting 11 games and earning honors as a member of the All-C-USA second team and the All-Conference second team. Smith was a Senior Bowl selection in 2017. Smith played high school football at West Port High School prior to playing at the collegiate level.
