Keenan Alexander Allen is an American football wide receiver for the Chicago Bears, as of the 2024 NFL season. The San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers selected Allen with the 76th overall pick in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. In his rookie season, Allen played in 15 regular-season games, recording 71 receptions for 1,046 yards and 8 receiving touchdowns, earning a spot on the PFWA All-Rookie Team. He won the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award in 2017 and was selected to the Pro Bowl six times (2017–2021, 2023). After spending 11 seasons with the Chargers, Allen was traded to the Bears in March 2024.
Before entering the NFL, Allen played collegiate football at the University of California, Berkeley. During his time there, he recorded 205 receptions for 2,570 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns (via Sports Reference). He was named First-team All-Pac-12 in 2011. In high school, he initially attended Grimsley Senior High School before transferring to Northern Guilford High School in Greensboro, North Carolina. Upon graduation, he was rated a five-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com.
