Ohio-born fullback Kyle Patrick Juszczyk was born on April 11, 1993. He was drafted in the fourth round (130th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens. He signed a four-year rookie contract worth $2.46 million. He played in the Ravens' 49–27 season-opening loss to the Denver Broncos to mark his professional regular season debut. Juszczyk became the starting fullback of the Ravens in the 2014 season.
Juszczyk started 16 games of the regular season in his seventh season with the 49ers. He finished the regular season with 119 rushing yards and two total touchdowns. Moreover, in the two games from the 2023 postseason, he averaged 16.5 receiving years which is his personal best. After appearing in the Super Bowl LIV losing 31-20 to the Kansas City Chiefs. Juszczyk will appear in his second Super Bowl in Las Vegas on February 11. Jusczyk, in his 11 seasons in the NFL, has been First-team All-Pro 2023 in eight Pro Bowls.
Growing up in Medina, he attended the Cloverleaf High School. Juszczyk committed to attend Harvard University playing tight end for the Harvard Crimson. He was selected unanimously to the first team of the Ivy League in his senior year. Juszczyk caught 125 passes for 1,576 yards and 22 touchdowns over his four years at Harvard. Juszczyk caught a touchdown reception in Super Bowl LIV, the first by a fullback since Mike Alstott in Super Bowl XXXVII and the first by a Harvard alumnus in Super Bowl history.
