Marquez Reshard Valdes-Scantling, a St. Petersburg, Florida native is a wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills. He made his mark on the collegiate scene with NC State and South Florida over 5 years before making it to the NFL as a 5th-round draft pick for the Green Bay Packers in the 2018 NFL Draft.

During his rookie-scale contract, MVS would showcase a knack for deep balls with his average lining up around 17 yards per reception. While he was never in the upper echelons of wide receiver, his timely plays were critical in Aaron Rodgers winning back-to-back MVPs as he totaled over 400 yards in each of his four seasons with his best year coming in 2020 where he tallied 690 yards at a 20.9 average.

After his contract, he signed a three-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. And the dividends paid off immediately. His first season not only saw him come close to his career-best numbers, it also resulted in a fantastic playoff run that saw him net his first Super Bowl ring. In his second season, while his individual numbers were down, he was critical in Kansas City's second consecutive Super Bowl win with some timely deep balls to support the offense. He signed a 1-year deal with the Buffalo Bills in the 2024 offseason after getting released by the Chiefs.
