Marquez Valdes-Scantling is one of the wide receivers on the Buffalo Bills football team. He is part of the now new-look wide receivers core for the Bills after they shipped out two of their most prolific receivers, Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis in the 2024 NFL offseason. Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, on October 10, 1994, MVS (as he is fondly referred to) is will be playing in his seventh season during the 2024-25 NFL season.

Valdes-Scantling started his college football career by attending North Carolina State University in his freshman and sophomore years and then went to the University of South Florida where he had to sit out of the football team in 2015 due to the transfer rules. Overall, he finished his college career with 119 receptions for 1,832 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns.

The former Kansas City Chiefs receiver didn't have the best year in the NFL in the 2023-24 NFL season. He got off to a poor start dropping several passes in the initial few games and then continued to struggle throughout the season. He was regarded as the Chiefs' number one deep-threat option but his poor performance this season saw him make only 21 receptions. Yet, he picked up his game in the playoffs and was part of another Super Bowl victory picking up his second ring in as many years.

What is Marquez Valdes-Scantling’s Net Worth in 2024?

As of May 2024, Marquez Valdes-Scantling’s net worth is approximately $10 million. It is difficult to tell the exact net worth of some athletes since they may have various streams of income that are not always available to the public.

Having said that, the Bills’ wide receiver has most probably earned a large chunk of his net worth through his NFL salary alone. Furthermore, being a fifth-round draft pick, MVS didn’t necessarily have the biggest rookie contract. With on-field performances that haven't exactly lit up the turf, MVS is now struggling to earn a big payday. However, at 29 years of age as of May 2024, if he can have a good season ahead then things may change for the better.

It is more than likely that he will sell this home now that he has signed with the Bills.
