Micah Parsons is now a household name, gaining popularity after tremendous performance on the football field. He is an American football player who currently plays as an edge rusher for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. For his brilliance on the field, he has earned three consecutive Pro Bowl selections and secured a spot on the first-team All-Pro in both 2021 and 2022. Parsons was born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He initially attended Central Dauphin High School before transferring to Harrisburg High School. During high school, he demonstrated versatility by playing in different positions. Rated as high as a five-star recruit, he eventually committed to playing college football for Penn State University. He had a decorated collegiate career, marked with numerous accolades and achievements. Some of his noteworthy achievements include receiving the Consensus All-American honor and first-team freshman All-American honor, among others.

The PSU alum entered the 2021 NFL Draft and was selected by the Cowboys as the 12th overall pick in the first round. He signed a fully guaranteed four-year rookie contract with the team that is valued at $17 million. Making his NFL debut in 2021, he exceeded rookie expectations, earning his first Pro Bowl selection, a spot on the first-team All-Pro and inclusion in the PFWA All-Rookie Team. In addition to these achievements, he also holds the rookie sack record with 13 sacks. He has only went on to get better in the following seasons with 13.5 and 14 sacks in 2022 and 2023 respectively.
