American football running back Najee Harris plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers as of October 2024. The Pittsburgh Steelers drafted him as the 24th pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He started all 17 games of the regular season in his rookie year recording 307 rushing attempts for 1,200 yards and seven touchdowns. Harris earned a spot in the PFWA ALL-Rookie Team and his first and only Pro Bowl appearance in 2021 as of October 2024. In his 59 appearances over four seasons, Harris has recorded 970 rushing attempts for 3,861 yards and 24 touchdowns.

Growing up in California, Harris attended Antioch High School. In 41 games that he played in high school, Harris had 838 rushing attempts for 7,948 yards scoring 94 touchdowns. He was rated as the number 1 recruit in the class of 2017 by Scout and Rivals. Harris committed to the University of Alabama in 2017. He finished the season with 370 yards on 61 attempts. Harris won the CFP National Championship in 2017. In his senior year, Harris won the CFP title for the second time. He completed 251 rushing attempts for 1,466 yards in his 2020 college season. Harris won the Doak Walker Award and Unanimous All-American in 2020. He finished his college career with 638 rushing attempts for 3,843 yards and 46 touchdowns.
