Nick Sirianni is an American football head coach for the Philadelphia Eagles as of the 2024 NFL season. Throughout his career, he has been with several NFL teams, including the Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, Los Angeles Chargers, Indianapolis Colts, and Philadelphia Eagles.

Before entering the NFL, he also coached at Mount Union and IUP. He was born in Jamestown, New York, and attended Southwestern Central High School in West Ellicott during his formative years. After graduating, he enrolled at the University of Mount Union, where he played college football as a wide receiver.

Nick Sirianni's Early Life

Sirianni was born on June 15, 1981, and is 43 years old as of October 2024. During his formative years, he played football at Southwestern Central High School in West Ellicott, New York, where his father, Fran Sirianni, was the head coach.

After graduating in 1999, he committed to playing college football at the University of Mount Union, where he played as a wide receiver from 1999 to 2003. He graduated with a degree in education.

Mount Union (2004-2005)

Sirianni's coaching career began at Mount Union, where he served as the defensive backs coach from 2004 to 2005 under head coach Larry Kehres.

IUP (2006-2008)

Sirianni then worked as the wide receivers coach under head coach Lou Tepper, at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Pennsylvania, from 2006 to 2008.

Kansas City Chiefs (2009-2012)

Sirianni began his NFL coaching career with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2009 under head coach Todd Haley. Over four seasons with the Chiefs (2009–2012), Sirianni held various roles, including offensive quality control coach in 2009, and assistant quarterbacks coach in 2010. In 2011, he was promoted as a wide receivers coach, under new head coach Romeo Crennel.

San Diego Chargers (2013-2017)

Sirianni joined the San Diego Chargers as the offensive quality control coach in 2013 under head coach Mike McCoy. He then served as the quarterbacks coach from 2014 to 2015 and as the wide receivers coach from 2016 to 2017.

Indianapolis Colts (2018-2020)

Sirianni became the offensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts from 2018 to 2020 under head coach Frank Reich. During his tenure with the Colts, the team made the playoffs twice and ranked 10th, 19th, and 12th in offensive DVOA.

Philadelphia Eagles(2021-present)

Since 2021, Sirianni has served as the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. He made his debut as head coach in a game against the Atlanta Falcons in September 2021, leading the Eagles to a 32–6 win. As of October 2024, Sirianni has a regular-season coaching record of 36–19, a postseason record of 2–3, and an overall career record of 38–22 with the Eagles.

In the 2021 NFL season, his first year as head coach, the team finished the regular season 9–8, placing 2nd in the NFC East, but lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Wild Card Game.

In the 2022 NFL season, the Eagles improved to a 14–3 record, finishing 1st in the NFC East. They reached Super Bowl LVII but fell to the Kansas City Chiefs.

In 2023, the Eagles posted an 11–6 record, again finishing 2nd in the NFC East, but once more lost to the Buccaneers in the NFC Wild Card Game.

Sirianni played wide receiver at Mount Union, winning national championships in 2000, 2001, and 2002. He started for three years, recording 998 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior in 2003.

During the 2022 NFL season, Sirianni led the Eagles to their fourth Super Bowl after playoff wins against the Giants in the Divisional Round playoff (38–7) and 49ers in the NFC Championship (31–7). However, they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII, 38–35.

The Eagles finished the regular season with a 14–3 record in 2022.

Mike Sirianni began his coaching career at Mount Union from 1994 to 1997 as a wide receivers and tight ends coach. He then coached quarterbacks and wide receivers at Wilkes in 1998 before serving as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Washington & Jefferson from 1999 to 2002. He has been the head coach there since 2003.
