Peyton Hillis Family

Peyton Hillis, the former NFL running back, is the son of Carl and Sheila Hillis.

Carl Hillis, a devoted father was critical to Peyton’s success as he encouraged him from a young age. Peyton’s career became a testament to the hard work and dedication that Carl instilled in him as a child.

Growing up in Conway, Arkansas, Peyton had the opportunity to develop his skills under the guidance of his father, who served as his coach and mentor.

Carl Hillis was always present at Peyton's games, providing unwavering support and encouragement. He witnessed his son's rise to prominence, from high school football to college at the University of Arkansas and eventually in the NFL.

Peyton Hillis is the youngest of three brothers. His elder brothers, Matt and Kyle were instrumental in Peyton’s success.

Offering him guidance, advice, and support, the two cheered him on from the sidelines, celebrated his achievements, and provided a bond that helped Peyton through his playing days.

Peyton Hillis is married to Amanda Hillis. The two tied the knot in 2011, at the peak of Peyton’s professional career.

Together, Peyton and Amanda Hillis have two children, a son, and a daughter. The two eventually got divorced in 2020 but remain co-parents to their children.

Recently, Hillis was at the forefront of newspapers all around. Amidst an ocean incident gone wrong, Peyton saved the lives of his two children and two other adults. Given the risk of the incident, Peyton went under the ventilator. Thankfully, three weeks later he was discharged and seems to be okay now.
