During an exceptional senior season, he made 65 catches for 815 yards and four touchdowns, five 100+ yard receiving outings, and four touchdowns on the ground. He was ranked by ESPN as the 106th best wide receiver prospect in the country and the 15th best prospect from Arizona overall. He was listed by 24/7 Sports Composite Rankings as the No. 23 overall talent in the state and the No. 147 wide receiver prospect in the nation.
Pearsall caught 74 passes for 1,153 yards and 15 touchdowns in the regular season. Pearsall, a three-star prospect, turned down offers from the Air Force, UC Davis, Hawaii, Idaho, New Mexico State, and Northern Arizona in favour of playing collegiate football at Arizona State.Pearsall played in 13 games, starting none in his first year at college.
