Trevor Penning is an American footballer who plays offensive tackle for the New Orleans Saints in the NFL as of 2024. The Saints drafted Penning as their 19th pick in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. In his rookie season, Penning was placed on injured reserve due to a torn ligament in September 2022. Since being drafted, he has experienced his fair share of injury issues, which has reduced his playing time in the league. Penning started his collegiate career with the University of Northern Iowa in 2017.
In 2018, he participated in four games after being redshirted his first year. In 2019, Penning made his debut in 15 games and established himself as a regular.
