Who are Trey McBride’s parents?

Trey McBride was raised by two mothers which makes him the first ever NFL player to have been raised by same-sex marriage. Trey was born on November 22,1999. He has 4 siblings out of which three are brothers while one is sister.

Trey McBride’s mothers' names are Kate McBride and Jen McBride. They are parents of five children. According to TODAY, Kate and Jen started their family in the mid-1990s. In his interview with NFL, McBride mentioned how supportive and caring both his parents have been to him and his siblings. He also mentioned how rarely they missed his sporting events.

In the same interview, Jen McBride mentioned how the family moved from a bigger city to Fort Morgan, Colorado. Kate and Jen were some of the first gay or lesbian couples in Fort Morgan when they arrived, according to McBride’s older brother Toby. Both parents surprised McBride when they went to his college campus to let him know he won the Mackey award.

While speaking to Youtube channel ‘Your Mom' on a podcast (September 15, 2022), McBride’s mother Jen said: “I was in trucking company [before moving to Fort Morgan] and now I work for the Sheriff's department”.

McBride has got two older brothers, one twin and a younger sister. His oldest brother is Bryce while his 2nd elder brother is Toby. McBride’s twin brother is Dylan while his younger sister’s name is Taya. Toby used to play as a defensive end for Colorado State during college.
