He started his college football career in 2019 and played for five seasons for the Tigers before declaring for the 2024 NFL draft. Davis had a dominant run as a DT for the Tigers and was named to the All-ACC First Team three times (2021, 2022, 2023) and was also named to the Second Team All-ACC in 2019. He is also Clemson’s first defensive player to be named to the All-ACC team four times which includes three consecutive selections.

Davis started his true freshman season with 45 total tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, and a single fumble recovered. He lacks the ideal length and it limits him from getting much extension against the offensive lineman.

Prior to college, Davis played his high school football at Wekiva High School located in Apopka, Florida and is a former four-star recruit coming out of high school. He committed to play for Clemson and turned down other college offers from Florida State, Miami, Georgia, and Ohio State.
