After going undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft, he was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent. He spent time on the Packers’ practice squad and active roster. However, he was waived in August 2023 and later signed with the Colts' practice squad in September. Later that year, he was promoted to the active roster in December.
Goodson played college football at the University of Iowa from 2019 to 2021. According to Sports Reference, he recorded 2,551 rushing yards, 18 touchdowns, and 70 receptions for 565 receiving yards in his 34 career games. He earned First-Team All-Big Ten honors in 2020 and was named to the Third-Team All-Big Ten in 2021. During his formative years, he played high school football at North Gwinnett High School. Upon graduation, he was rated as a three-star recruit.
