Stetson Bennett is an American football player who currently plays as a quarterback for the University of Georgia Bulldogs football team. Bennett was born on October 28, 1997, in Blackshear, Georgia, and attended Pierce County High School where he played football and baseball.
After graduating from high school, Bennett initially committed to play football at Georgia Military College but ultimately decided to walk-on at the University of Georgia. He redshirted his first year with the Bulldogs in 2017 and then served as a backup quarterback in 2018 and 2019.
Bennett finally got his chance to start in 2020, and he led the Bulldogs to an 8-2 record and a victory in the Peach Bowl. He completed 55.5% of his passes for 2,211 yards, 14 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions during the season.

Stetson Bennett's parents are Denise Bennett and Stetson Bennett III. They are both into business. They own Bennett’s Hometown Pharmacy and have invested in many other pharmacies. The couple met and graduated from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy.

Stetson Bennett's sister Olivia Bennett is a Softball player for Georgia Impact Premier '07 - Sullivan.
She is currently attending her first year at Pierce County High School in the class of 2026. She plays for Pierce County Softball and also Georgia Softball.
