Xavier Legette Parents

South Carolina-born Xavier Legette , is an NFL wide receiver who was selected by the Carolina Panthers with the 32nd pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He played as a wide receiver for South Carolina Gamecocks in college. Legette played in 41 games with 17 starts during his first four years at South Carolina. During that time, he had 113 receptions for over 1,600 yards and twelve touchdowns. In 2023, Legette, a fifth-year senior, emerged as the team's top receiver. He has also been a part of the Second-team All-SEC squad in 2023. Legette went to Mullins, South Carolina's Mullins High School. In high school, he was a wide receiver, but in his last year, he also played quarterback. He passed for 887 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior, in addition to running for 1,826 yards and 19 scores.

Legette is a formidable presence on the field thanks to his freak measurables that are ready for the NFL and his predicted 40 time is of 4.39 seconds. On his X account (formerly known as Twitter), he posted a picture with his parents and a heartfelt caption: "Technology is great I appreciate grandmother for getting this made for me.. Most may not know but I lost my MoM and DAD one rising 9th grade year and one before I was able to graduate..It hurts me badly that they didn't get to see me graduate lastnight."

Xavier Legette's Mother

Anita Reaves Legette is the mother Legette. According to her Facebook profile, she was from Mullins, and attended Mullins High School in 1982. She later earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from South Carolina State University. She worked as an Adjunct Faculty member at Florence-Darlington Technical College and served as the HSTARS/Area Supervisor/Network Manager at PDCAP Head Start. Following a struggle with breast cancer, Anita Renee Reaves-Legette passed away in 2015.
