Anze Kopitar is a professional ice hockey center and the captain of the Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on August 24, 1987, Anze was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft and made his debut in 2006. Right from the beginning of his NHL career, Kopitar has showcased his exceptional skills and earned many awards in both the NHL and within the Kings' setup.

Coming from Slovenia, Kopitar’s journey in the NHL has been marked by many milestones that includes six career hat tricks and more than 400 career goals scored till date. He was also the recipient of the Frank J. Selke Trophy in 2016 and 2018 as the best forward of the league and has also won the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy twice in his career, with the wins coming in 2016 and 2023.

In addition to all these achievements, Kopitar has also earned a spot in the NHL All-Star Game multiple times, a total of five times ( as of 2024), with his last appearance coming in the 2020 edition of the All-Star game. Lastly, Kopitar has been part of two Stanley Cup triumphs with the Los Angeles Kings (2012 and 2014), which has added to his already everlasting legacy on the Kings and the league.

Where does Anze Kopitar live?

Anže Kopitar and his wife Ines recently put one of their houses for sale with an asking price of $37 million. The reason for selling the house is not known as of yet.

Kopitar acquired two houses in the sought-after sand sector of Manhattan Beach for $10 million many years back. The main house has exclusive features like 7,600 square feet of living space, 10 bathrooms, and seven bedrooms, offering luxury and comfort. One of the stand-out features of the house is a garage that fits around eight cars, an elevator, an office, a screening room, a gym, and a climate-controlled wine display. While details about his adjoining home have not been revealed, he might likely be living there with his wife.

Situated in the proximity to Strand, they have easy access to the beach which enhances the attraction of the residence.
