Filip Forsberg is a Swedish professional ice hockey left-winger playing for the Nashville Predators in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Washington Capitals in the 2012 NHL Entry Level Draft. However, he was traded to the Nashville Predators inside a year in exchange for Martin Erat and Michael Latta.

Forsberg started his hockey journey in his hometown, playing at the Swedish Hockey League with Leksands IF, a prominent club where he honed his skills and developed himself as a young player before transitioning to professional hockey.

During his rookie season with the Predators, he collected 26 goals and 37 assists, marking his exceptional performance for which he earned the nomination for the Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL's top rookie. In 2015, he became the youngest Predators to score a goal in the playoffs and also scored a hat trick in the 2014-16 playoffs. Filip continued to shine during the 2015–16 season when he scored two natural hat-tricks in a four-day span. Till now, he has scored nine hat tricks in his career and has participated in the NHL All-Star Game twice (in 2015 and 2024).
