Mikko Rantanen is a Finnish professional ice hockey right-winger who is currently playing for the Colorado Avalanche in the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on October 29, 1996, he was selected by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. Rantanen made his NHL debut in the 2015-16 season after an impressive showing at the training camp. However, with limited numbers over 9 scoreless games, he was sent to the team’s American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage later in the same season.

He was recalled the following season and featured in 75 games while posting 38 points ( 20 goals and 18 assists). The 2017-18 season turned out to be a breakout year for him as he posted 84 points ( 29 goals and 55 assists) over 81 games. Notably, his most significant achievement came in 2021-22, when he was part of the Colorado team that won the Stanley Cup. He also has two NHL All-Star Games appearances to his name (in 2019 and 2023).

Mikko Rantanen currently owns a house on the outskirts of downtown Denver. He bought the house for a staggering 4.1 million euros.

The living space in the apartment is no less than 620 square meters on three floors. The house was built in 2001 and showcases modernity along with a swimming pool with a terrace in the backyard, a bathroom with a jacuzzi connected to a master bedroom, and a movie theatre where he along with his wife, Susanna can have a quality time.

In total, the house contains five bedrooms and six bathrooms. Additionally, four bedrooms are located upstairs and three of them have their balconies. One of the bedrooms is located on the basement level and also contains a wine storage and recreation room. There's also a fireplace that extends from the floor to the ceiling and behind opens a bar kitchen that connects to the living room. On the second floor, there is an office room.

Moreover, the passage between the floors is via a spiral staircase. While the surface material of the floor is Brazilian cherry wood.
