Mikko Rantanen is a Finnish ice hockey forward, playing for the Carolina Hurricanes as of February 2025. He was drafted 10th overall by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2015 NHL Draft. He made his NHL debut later that year against the Minnesota Wild.

Rantanen began his career with HC TPS in Finland's SM-liiga before signing with the Avalanche in 2015. He spent time in the AHL, where he became the second-youngest participant in the All-Star Game. Rantanen won a Stanley Cup with the Avalanche in 2022 and has been selected to two NHL All-Star Games (2019, 2023), in addition to being named to the NHL's second All-Star Team in 2021. Over his career, he has accumulated 566 points in over 530 regular-season games.
