Thatcher Douglas Demko is an American professional ice hockey goaltender playing for the Vancouver Canucks in the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on December 8, 1995, was selected 36th overall by the Canucks in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Before the NHL, Demko honed his hockey skills in the United States Hockey League in the 2011-12 season and later went to the U.S. National Development Team where he secured a silver medal at the 2012 World U17 Hockey Challenge.

Demko went on to represent the U.S. national teams, winning a silver medal at the 2013 IIHF World U18 Championships and participating in various World Junior Championships. His debut at a senior men's international tournament occurred at the 2019 IIHF World Championship, where he contributed to the team's success with a 2-0-0 record.

His NHL career has been marked by notable performances across the past 7 seasons, entirety with the Vancouver Canucks. His performances have led him to notable accolades such as earning selection to the NHL All-Star game twice in his career so far along with an NHL Third Star of the Month honors in January 2022.
