Napheesa Collier is a professional WNBA player for the Minnesota Lynx and plays in the Power Forward position. Following a star-studded collegiate career, she entered the league in 2019 and won the Rookie of the Year and a spot on the All-Rookie Team 2019. She is a 4-time WNBA All-Star and made the WNBA All-Defensive 2nd-team twice.

In her college, the University of Connecticut, she showed great potential throughout, by winning 2 WBCA Coaches All-American awards, a Katrina McClain award, and a spot on the USBWA All-American roster. Apart from these, she won an AAC Defensive Player of the Year award and an AAC tournament MVP award in 2019. Collier averaged 20.4 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game in the 2024 WNBA season. She led the Lynx to the number 2 seed in the 2024 season and later led them to the WNBA finals before losing in a heartbreaking fashion against NY Liberty in the 2024 WNBA finals. In 2024, Collier set an impressive WNBA postseason record for most points in a playoff run, scoring a total of 285 points. She broke Diana Taurasi's record in just 10 games, while Taurasi had made the record in 11 games.

Napheesa Collier has one girl with her husband Alex Bazzell, who is a professional NBA/WNBA skills coach and trainer. The girl was born on May 25, 2022, and was named Mila Sarah Bazzell. The couple married soon after their baby girl's birth on October 7th, 2022 in St. Louis.

In an interview with People magazine, she stated that she looks up to Candice Parker for the way she handles her professional life and her daughter. She added, “I am super excited. The athletes that Alex trains, to have the kid be around them, to have them be around my teammates and have 11 other aunts.” (via People).
