Rebecca Allen was born on 6 November 1992 in Wangaratta, Victoria. She is an Australian professional basketball player who, as of September 2024, plays as a guard for the Phoenix Mercury. Allen was signed as a free agent by the New York Liberty in the 2015 WNBA Draft. She has accumulated eight years of experience in the WNBA and also played for the Connecticut Sun in 2023.
As of September 2024, she is representing Australia in international championships with the Opals, the Australian Women's Basketball team. Allen competed in the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in 2014, 2018, and 2022, winning two bronze medals and one silver medal. She also won a silver medal at the 2019 FIBA Women’s Asia Cup in Bangalore. Additionally, she participated in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
