GIlbert Arenas

Gilbert Arenas Jr., a former United States national basketball team point guard, was born on January 6, 1982. He worked in the industry from 2001 to 2013. Arenas attended Grant High School in Los Angeles before accepting a scholarship offer to the University of Arizona in his junior year. The Golden State Warriors chose him with the 31st overall choice in the 2001 NBA draught. He was selected as the NBA's Most Improved Player for the 2002–03 campaign. Arenas earned the "Agent Zero" moniker and was a three-time NBA All-Star and All-NBA Team member.

This was done to honour his old jersey number and his propensity for making clutch shots. He has also gone by the names "Gilby" and "Hibachi," which both mean "bowl of fire" in Japanese. While he was a member of the Washington Wizards, both names made it to the top of the fan favourites list. Arenas was suspended for most of the 2009–10 NBA season due to firearm violations resulting from an incident on December 24, 2009, and later conduct that seemed to make light of this incident. Arenas was transferred to the Orlando Magic in late 2010.

Arenas was the first NBA player to be released under the "amnesty clause" during the 2011 NBA lockout. He thus joined the Memphis Grizzlies for the 2011–12 NBA season. He played with the Shanghai Sharks of the Chinese Basketball Association for one season before quitting basketball after the season.
