French professional basketball player Rayan Rupert (born May 31, 2004) most recently competed for the National Basketball League's (NBL) New Zealand Breakers. Rupert competed for Centre Fédéral in the French NM1 from 2019 to 2021. He resumed playing in the NM1 with Pôle France in the 2021–2022 season.
Rupert joined the New Zealand Breakers on June 10, 2022, as a member of the league's Next Stars programme for the 2022–2023 NBL season. Hugo Besson and Ousmane Dieng, two Frenchmen, were previously chosen by the Breakers in the 2022 NBA draft. Not to mention former Breakers player, RJ Hampton, who currently plays for the Orlando Magic.
