
Jalen Rivers is an offensive lineman and played the 2024 season as a fifth-year redshirt junior for the Miami Hurricanes. He hails from Jacksonville, Florida, and attended Oakleaf High School. Jalen Rivers spent five years at the University of Miami, playing in 47 games with 41 starts at multiple positions on the offensive line. Jalen Rivers had a remarkable high school career at Oakleaf High School in Orange Park, Florida. He was rated as a four-star recruit by ESPN, 247Sports, and Rivals. ESPN ranked him as the No. 35 in the country, the No. 5 in the state overall player in Florida. 247Sports Composite ranked him as the No. 15 offensive tackle and the No. 23 in Florida, while Rivals listed him as the No. 19 offensive tackle in the country and the No. 212 overall on its Top 250 list. Rivers was invited to participate in the 2020 Under Armour All-America Game. He was also named to the all-state and all-county teams in high school. Apart from football, he also played basketball, did weightlifting, ran track & field events, and was the state champion in shot put. He was a high school teammate of Chantz Williams. Rivers was offered a scholarship from more than 20 schools, including Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Penn State, and Texas, before committing to Miami.
