Kyle Jacob is a collegiate football linebacker for the Navy Midshipmen in the American Athletic Conference. He is a 2020 graduate of Paramus High School in Paramus and attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2020-21 academic year. While he was in high school, Jacob focused on two sports. Apart from his focus on football, he also excelled in wrestling and earned letters in both sports. Jacob is a three-time (2017, ‘18, ‘19) All-Bergen County and First-Team All-Group 3 football player.
While he was in his senior year, Jacob earned All-State recognition in 2020. He also became the school record holder for rushing yards, all-purpose yards, forced fumbles and interceptions. Jacob recorded 2,934 rushing yards overall in three seasons. As a senior, Jacob amassed 107 tackles, nine forced fumbles and four interceptions. Jacob, who has majored in quantitative economics, made his collegiate debut in 2021 and attended nine matches. The following year, he played in 12 games and recorded a career-high 3 tackles against the Army and 10 tackles in total. In the 2023 season, the player recorded a career-high 7 tackles against Notre Dame in the opener. At Navy, Jacob attended 22 games and has earned 3 varsity letters.
