The game also has various spells that consume mana and need to be cooled down before they can be used again. One of the spells allows the protagonist to transform into other beings, who come with their unique move set. The player would unlock new transformations as they progress further in the game.
Black Myth: Wukong has a linear progression. The game has a huge area to explore, where they will come across many shrines that act as save points. As for the game's difficulty, it can't be changed mid-game but remain variable throughout the game.
