About Junior Kabaddi World Championship
About
The Junior Kabaddi World Championship will commence for the first time in 2019 from 11th November to 15th November. The event will feature professional kabaddi players aged under 20 from all across the world representing respective countries. The Tournament will be held in Kish Island, Iran.
Format and Style
In total there are 13 participating nations from all over the world. The nations will be divided into four groups with three nations each, except for Group A. The Group A consist of four nations followed by three nations in Group B,C and D. Matches will happen in two batches in a day, morning batch starting from 11:00 AM and evening batch starting after 7:00 PM
Participating Nations
Group A :- Iran, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkmenistan
Group B :- Pakistan, Denmark, Azerbaijan
Group C :-Chinese Taipei, Bangladesh, Afghanistan
Group D :- Sri Lanka, Iraq, Kenya,
Schedule and Venue
The tournament will be held in Kish Islan, Iran from 11th November and will last for 4 days, ending on 15th November 2019.
