American professional golfer Luke Ryan List was born on January 14, 1985. He competes on the PGA Tour. List was born in the city of Seattle, Washington. He finished two strokes behind winner Ryan Moore in the 2004 US Amateur.

List tied Will Zalatoris, and as the sun was lowering, the two competed in a playoff. List won the tournament with a birdie after hitting his third shot on the par-5 18th hole in the playoffs by a foot. After 206 PGA Tour appearances, it was List's first tour victory.
