That's all from this contest as I, Lavil and Meeth Agarwal take your leave. Do check Sportskeeda for the latest in the world of sports. SEE YA!
Rashid Khan (captain, MI Cape Town): It was a pretty close game. We dropped a few catches early, which cost us. It was brilliant to see Rassie bat till the end but I still feel we were 10 to 15 runs short. 170-175 would have been a good total to defend. We had some chances in the field but we let ourselves down looking to hold onto it.
David Miller (captain, Paarl Royals): Great performance from the team as a whole. The spinners did a great job and credit to Wellalage, bowled well and kept us in the game. He plays all around the ground and plays spin well. Very talented young man and great to have him on our team. He found his lengths well and restricted them. Great to have him in our team. He is our death bowler now, it was a good option and we will look at the tactics of the team. You have got to finish the game and have got to be very critical to finish the game. Just about finishing the game and being patient, the boundary balls will come. It was a big game for us, 2 wins in 2 matches. Great support from the fans
Lhuan Dre Pretorius (Player of the Match): Bat just got stuck on the ground. It would have been nice to finish off the game. Nice that we got over the line. Buzzing inside the dressing room, having some drinks. Conditions were bit different under light, skidding on under lights, but I adapted quite well. I am just speaking to coach to have clarity in my game and having options.
8:52 pm local time, 12:22 am IST: Paarl Royal beat MI Cape Town by six wickets
Paarl Royals: 159/4 in 19 overs Lhuan Dre Pretorius: 83(52b) | Rashid Khan: 1/22 (4 overs) David Miller: 24(20b)* | Trent Boult: 1/26 (4 overs)
David Miller won his first toss as a skipper today and things went to plan for him. He mentioned at the toss to the presenter that the pitch would get better as the day progressed and he made good use of the conditions on offer. Paarl Royals register a convincing win and now move into the upper half of the table.
Paarl Royals did really well and started off with a bang. Joe Root and the latest Protea sensation Lhuan dre Pretorius did a fine job with the bat in hand opening the innings. The duo put together 50 runs for the first wicket before Trent Boult managed to prize the wicket of Root to send the English star batter back into the hut.
Lhuan dre Pretorius was then joined by Mitchell van Buuren with the duo adding another 50 runs for the second wicket. van Buuren was dismissed soon after but Pretorius did a fine job, with the 18-year-old going along like a car along the highway. Miller joined the free-flowing southpaw and the pair looked as if they are racing home until a direct hit from Rashid Khan ended Pretorius' stay in the middle. In the end, Dinesh Karthik and David Miller - the experienced men - took the Royals over the line for the second time this season.
MICT will be annoyed with their bowling performance. Trent Boult bowled really well with the new ball and in the death as well, picking up a wicket while Rashid Khan kept the lid on the scoring rate. George Linde, Azmatullah Omarzai and Kagiso Rabada were expensive and will have to look into their plans when they play their next game of the tournament.
Let's now go down to hear what the captains and the Player of the Match have to say

18.6 Kagiso Rabada to David Miller, FOUR! DONE AND DUSTED! Short ball and Miller pulls it hard over square leg to finish off the chase in style. Paarl Royals win by 6 wickets and take their revenge over MICT.
18.5 Kagiso Rabada to Andile Phehlukwayo, fuller on the stumps, pushed to long on.
Andile Phehlukwayo, LHB, walks out to the middle and will be on strike
18.4 Kagiso Rabada to Dinesh Karthik, DIRECT HIT AND KARTHIK IS GONE! Back of length on the stumps, Karthik nudges it to square leg. There was never a double there and there comes a direct hit from the keeper Esterhuizen, hitting just the one stump. Karthik was not even in the frame.
Dinesh Karthik run out (Connor Esterhuizen) 10 (6b, 1x4, 0x6)
18.3 Kagiso Rabada to David Miller, fuller on the stumps, Millers drives it to long off.
Paarl Royals now only need seven runs in 10 balls. Both Miller and DK will be looking to end it soon
18.2 Kagiso Rabada to David Miller, FOUR! That should be the game here for the Royals. Poor delivery on the pads, Miller works it across nicely to fine leg for a boundary.
18.1 Kagiso Rabada to David Miller, off cutter that goes past the inside edge of Miller, beats the keeper as well, and it's two byes. The Royals will take it.
Paarl Royals need 13 runs in 12 balls. This chase has gotten really close and the two T20 veterans in the middle will have to be wary of the threat the potent MICT bowling attack possesses

17.6 Trent Boult to Dinesh Karthik, smart cricket from DK. Smacks a slower short ball outside off to extra covers. The mid off fielder races and stops it but the batters get a couple.
17.5 Trent Boult to Dinesh Karthik, FOUR!!! Brilliant from DK here to pick a fuller ball on the pads and work it away easily to mid wicket for a boundary.
17.4 Trent Boult to Dinesh Karthik, yorker on the off stump, DK works it nicely to deep point for a quick double.
17.3 Trent Boult to Dinesh Karthik, off cutter outside off, nudged towards point. No run.
