The 43-year-old Brazilian martial artist made his octagon debut in the light heavyweight division at UFC 146 against Kyle Kingsbury on May 26, 2012. Since then, Teixeira has faced some of the biggest names in UFC history.
Upon losing his first title shot from Jon Jones in 2014 at UFC 172, Glover Teixeira finally took hold of the title at UFC 267 from Jan Blachowicz on October 30, 2021.
However, Teixeira lost his belt in the first title defense against Jiri Prochazka at UFC 275 on June 11, 2022, which was also his last fight. The fans are eagerly waiting for his next fight.
