Oladeji Daniel "Deji" Olatunji, also called Deji or ComedyShortsGamer, is the younger brother of KSI. Deji was born on December 9, 1996. Deji, originally from London, where he spent most of his life, currently resides in Peterborough with his parents. His YouTube journey began similar to his brother’s beginnings, with gaming content, particularly FIFA videos. He also ventured into creating short parody-style sketches, often collaborating with his brother and father.

However, he discontinued uploading such videos around 2016. Deji is well-known for his "challenge" and "prank" videos, and he began releasing music videos in 2017. Much of his initial fame can be attributed to his cameos in his brother KSI's videos.

Why did KSI and his brother fight?

In November 2018, a series of diss tracks between a YouTuber named Randolph and Deji marked the beginning of this sibling rivalry. Deji's diss track, released on November 26, 2018, included a screenshot of KSI's personal bank account, alleging that KSI paid for Randolph's wedding. KSI reacted with disappointment, blaming his parents for allowing Deji access to the bank account.

On Christmas Day 2018, Deji publicly announced that he had kicked KSI out of his house, claiming that KSI had come to fight and threatened to damage his computer. Both Deji and KSI recorded the incident without each other's knowledge.

In May 2019, Deji released a video titled "Bye," where he accused KSI of abusive behavior, including throwing objects at him and interfering in his relationships with girls. Deji claimed that KSI had slept with someone he had feelings for and accused him of not being neutral in the situation. KSI responded with a one-hour video, "ending it all," debunking Deji's claims and defending himself.

The aftermath saw fluctuations in subscribers for both KSI and Deji. At first, KSI lost subscribers, but after releasing his response video, he began gaining them back. On the other hand, Deji started losing subscribers on both of his accounts. A few months later, KSI and Deji resolved their issues with each other by appearing in videos together and claiming that it was all a misunderstanding that was blown out of proportion.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Deji

Reports emerged in September 2022, citing negotiations between Floyd Mayweather Jr., an undefeated American boxing legend, and Deji for an exhibition match scheduled to take place in Dubai on November 13, 2022. On September 20, 2022, it was officially confirmed that this bout would take place at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. Deji confirmed the bout on September 26, 2022, in a video titled "I AM FACING FLOYD MAYWEATHER."

During the fight, Deji was easily defeated by Mayweather Jr. via a TKO in the 6th round, although he managed to give Mayweather a black eye. Mayweather praised Deji in his post-fight interview, commending him as a tough competitor and encouraging him to continue his efforts. Deji then called out musicians Justin Bieber and Liam Payne after the match.
