Calais Malik Campbell is an American football defensive tackle for the Miami Dolphins as of the 2024 NFL season. The Arizona Cardinals selected Campbell as the 50th overall pick in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Before joining the Dolphins, he played with the Arizona Cardinals (2008–2016), Jacksonville Jaguars (2017–2019), Baltimore Ravens (2020–2022), and Atlanta Falcons (2023). In his rookie year with the Cardinals, Campbell appeared in 16 games while starting none. He became a regular in the following season as he recorded 48 combined and 37 solo tackles in 2009. His career-high numbers came in the fourth season (2010) with Arizona as he has 72 combined and 53 solo tackles. Campbell, in his 16 years in the league, was named to the Pro Bowl six times while being named the PFWA Defensive Player of the Year in 2017. He also won the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year in 2019.

Campbell attended South High School in Denver and was a starter throughout his career. He was ranked no. 11 nationally and the no. 2 prospect in Colorado by SuperPrep as he recorded 57 sacks in his career which is a state record, as per the Miami Hurricanes. Campbell committed to the University of Miami playing for the Hurricanes in 2004. Being redshirted in his first year, he went on to become an All-ACC defensive end as a sophomore. Campbell was also named to Playboy’s All-American team in 2007. According to Sports Reference, he finished his college career with 129 total and 83 solo tackles along with 19.5 sacks.
