Cameron Ward is a football player at the University of Maimi. Ward is from Lane Jackson, Texas, born on May 25, 2002. The 6 ft 2 in, 223 lb quarterback has a good frame and an NFL-ready arm at his disposal. Having spent the previous two seasons leading the offense for the Washington State Cougars football team, Ward had previously played for the Incarnate Word Cardinals in 2020 and 2021.

Ward is an exceptional talent who has already pocketed some valuable accomplishments in his college career thus far, yet, he has decided to return to college football for one more year and will now be playing for the Miami Hurricanes at the University of Miami.

To date, the explosive signal-caller has already won the 2020 Jerry Rice Award which is given to the most outstanding player in FCS Division I college football. On top of that, he was named the Southland Freshman of the Year in 2020 and the Southland Offensive Player of the Year in 2021.

What Ward brings to the field are incredible qualities such as explosiveness and the ability to escape oncoming pressure from defenders. He is quite efficient with off-balance throws as well as tight window throws. Improving his pocket presence, footwork, and consistency are some of the areas of the game he needs to further develop.
