Keith Randolph is an American football player who plays as a defensive tackle. The Illinois native has been playing collegiate football at the University of Illinois for the past five years. After the 2023 season, Randolph decided to enter the 2024 NFL Draft set to take place at the end of April in Detroit, Michigan.
Born and brought up in Illinois, Randolph attended Belleville West High School in Belleview, Illinois. Randolph played basketball in high school and took up football only in his junior year, yet earned a three-star rating after playing for just two years. In spite of several notable offers from other universities, Randolph selected Illinois as it was closer to home, his family, and the academic prowess of the school.
Randolph’s first couple of years playing for the Fighting Illini were not so effective as he got to play in just 4 and 5 games respectively. He ended his true freshman year as a redshirt. Nevertheless, the last 3 years of his tenure at Illinois proved to be much better as he saw improved game time and put up some decent numbers along the way.
Randolph’s game is based on his length and the strength he brings especially from his lower body. He possesses good hands and is one of the better tacklers as he showed in the latter seasons of his college career. Randolph is also a talented mover and his creativity allows him to make plays consistently.

Holding a lemonade stand at Parkhill Plaza in Champaign, Randolph signed autographs and gave out lemonade in exchange for donations which contributed directly to the Salvation Army.
He was also part of the Illini Guardians collective in which 8 other Illini offensive linemen partnered with the collective to take part in the “Help Tackle Hunger” program. This program worked to eradicate or at least bring under control the crisis of food insecurity amongst the residents of Illinois. Randolph along with his fellow linemen were a part of an in-person as well as a virtual food drive.
