Rashaad Penny is a former American running back, who played for six seasons in the National Football League(NFL). Penny signed a four year deal with the Seahawks which was about $10.7 million. Penny made his debut in the Seahawks' 27-24 loss to the Denver Broncos.
In 2019, he amassed 370 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. He became a free agent following the 2021 campaign. Penny signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles in March 2023. He was initially thought of as Miles Sanders' replacement, after he left in free agency to join the Carolina Panthers. Penny went to Norwalk High School and in his senior season he recorded 2,504 yards and 41 touchdowns on 216 carries. He played college football for the Aztecs from 2014 to 2017 record for 1,018 yards on 136 carries . Rashaad was awarded Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Week .
