Adam Henrique is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on February 6, 1990, Henrique was selected 82nd overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft and has also played with the Anaheim Ducks in the league. Nonetheless, Henrique began his minor ice hockey career in the Ontario Minor Hockey Association, playing for the Burford Coyotes and later participated in the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the Brantford 99ers. He later advanced to the AAA Brantford 99ers of the Pavilion League, where he played until his minor midget season in 2005–06. Transitioning to major junior hockey, he joined the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), where he helped them win back-to-back Memorial Cups in 2009 and 2010.
These achivements paved the way for Henrique to make his NHL debut with the New Jersey Devils against the Boston Bruins in April 2011. The following seasons saw him establish as a regular for the Devils before his trade to the Ducks in 2017. Another trade took place in March 2024, which saw him join forces with his present team, the Edmonton Oilers.
