Alexander DeBrincat is an American professional ice hockey right winger playing with the Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League, as of March 2025. He attended Harrison High School in Farmington Hills and later Illinois' Lake Forest Academy to prepare for his further studies in college. DeBrincat was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft as the 39th overall draft pick. He debuted with the Chicago Blackhawks during the 2017-2018.

DeBrincat scored his first NHL goal against the Montreal Canadiens in October and finished his rookie season with 28 goals and 52 points. He was named as an alternate captain for the Blackhawks in the 2021-2022 season. DeBrincat was traded to the Ottawa Senators in 2022, where he contributed 66 points in 82 games in his first season with them. DeBrincat was traded to the Detroit Red Wings in July 2024.
